When we walk into an Asian market, we feel all the childhood feels. White Rabbit Creamy Candy, Mr. Brown Iced Coffee, Yakult! 加油! (Let’s go!) But if you didn’t grow up going to Asian markets, they can be very intimidating.

Hundreds of sauces with no explanations. How do you cook those leafy greens? Which fish sauce is the best one? What’s the difference between rice wine and rice vinegar? How do I make great boba at home? Why are there 28 kinds of soy sauce? Can I eat this raw? So many dried mushrooms!

Hot Wok Academy is here to help. If you want a safe, small group where all of your questions are welcome, join us on a Shopping Trip!

  • Shopping Trips will focus on Fresh Produce, Sauces, Dry Goods (including noodles!), & Prepared Foods

  • Your Hot Wok Academy host will make a brief presentation at each area with lots of time for questions
